I gave them to my mom as a gift after she saw and love them.It would stick out a lot from your regular size mug as it’s a lot taller, but it will stably stand itself in the mug/cup. The only problem with this tea infuser is that you will have to find a separate container/plate to rest it (there are holes at the bottom). I don’t like to soak my tea leaves for too long and take them out 2-3 mins after every pour. Except that…. pretty good and CUTE infuser!

This is the perfect tea infuser for me. It is easy to load the tea leaves, it is easy to empty out and clean, and it has the perfect design so if I use a deeper cup I can set the head against the lip of the cup to hold it in place. The design is pretty clever working it out to be a dinosaur/Loch ness monster too. It took me a while trying different infusers to find this perfect mix of whimsy and utility.

I really like these infusers – the bottom holds the perfect amount of tea, I didn’t have any trouble closing it up at anytime, and it doesn’t leak except for some absolutely minuscule powdery tea, which is expected and acceptable. I bought them because I accidentally bought loose leaf tea instead of bags, so I figured why not try a set of tea infusers.First, since it is an infuser and loose leaf tea is pretty thin and small, you’re of course going to get some escapee tea leaves, but not too many.Second, they hold a pretty, good amount of tea. I overfilled mine and still got it to close.Third, you do have to move them up and down some to get the tea to infuse…. You can’t just let them stuff there without moving them and expect the hot water to get through all the leaves you put in.Lastly, they’re super easy too clean. Since they’re rubbery, I pop the soft middles out to push the rest of the leaves out and clean them.
